Caring for your loved ones can be challenging at the best of times. Add in a critical illness, progressive illness, sudden heart attack or stroke, or as a result of an automobile accident, and life can be more stressful. By being the main caregiver, it can also change the relationship between you and your family member. We can help. Our full trained, certified and vetted Home Support Workers, Personal Support Workers, Registered Practical Nurses, Foot Care Nurses, and Developmental Social Workers can take care of all your loved ones needs. This can range from basic housekeeping to bathing to dressing to foot care to administration of medication. We can conduct a full review of their current needs and design a plan that will help the entire family. All of our caregivers have current Vulnerable Sector Police Checks, First Aid / CPR, Gentle Persuasion Training, as well as conflict resolution. They have at least two to three years experience working in a homecare environment and have been trained on any equipment which may be needed by the client, including floor patient and ceiling lifts. We encourage our clients to meet with the selection of caregivers to see who best meets their needs, not just from a skill perspective but also from a personality match perspective. Having someone who can take care of you and you will enjoy having in your home is the ultimate goal.
